The peperomia watermelon is one of the most striking houseplants and gets its distinctive name from the distinctive stripes on its leaves just like a watermelon.
Pot size: 12cm wide
Plant height: 25cm aprox
Water: Allow the soil to dry completely between watering. Ensure plenty of drainage. Do not overwater as plant is susceptible to root rot. Reduce watering in the Winter.
Light: Prefers indirect light and away from the sun. Brown markings can appear on the underside of the leaves if there is too much sun.
Humidity: low - medium. You can mist through warmer summer months.
Feed: Diluted liquid feed monthly through Spring/Summer.
Toxicity: This plant is safe for cats and dogs.
Tips: Ideal temperature range is between 18 and 25 degrees. Be careful when handling or moving as their stems are delicate and can snap off easily.
